Cody appears as a teen/young adult male with an average build. He has naturally black short cropped hair that is often dyed. His skin is dark brown.

He wears purple angular shades, double ear piercings, a flashy pink, blue and yellow jacket over a purple t-shirt, purple wristbands, on occasion a friendship bracelet, blue jeans and flashy purple sneakers. Overall, very 80's skaterboy.

Biography[]
Cody and his twin sister Mini were born to Loser and Cool Kid parents, something totally unheard of and completely taboo. They were adopted by their grandma under unknown circumstances, seemingly at an age young enough to not remember much of their parents. Upon entering middle school they (even more so than other kids) were pressured into fulfilling their Loser and Cool Kid roles by their G-Ma.
Cody was treated like a God in training while Mini was treated like a social pariah. Eventually the pressure was enough to ruin the friendship between Cody and Mini and cause Mini to run away from home. Since then Cody has dealt with his immense guilt by avoiding Losers altogether, avoiding bully-type Cool Kids and (upon being chosen for GRD), being kind towards Losers.
Personality and Traits[]
Cody introduces himself as a carefree yet determined Cool Kid with overflowing confidence, enough to attempt ascension to Godhood. In reality, he's a chronic people-pleaser following the whims of his G-Ma and societal norms, believing ascension will offer him an escape from the people he feels beholden to. In his people-pleasing attempts he can come across as wishy washy, lacking integrity or two-faced. The most genuine Cody is one who's shamelessly childish, a big dummy with a big heart, with golden retriever energy and the determination to stand up for himself and others.
Cody tends to speak with a lot of 80's and 90's slang, lots of contractions, colloquialisms, and on occasion will cuss.

- Holden: Holden is a close friend of Cody. They met through Holden being neighbors with Juvie.
- Game Girl: GG is Cody's neighbor and close friend. They've been friends since middle school.
Losers[]
- Peter: Peter was Cody's assigned Cool Kid Candidate. In the pursuit of ascension the two have become friends, enemies, and now, something more. Cody and Peter kiss at the end of episode 29.
- Peggy: Peggy is one of the first Losers Cody's really interacted with since Mini's disappearance in middle school. Since meeting her Cody's felt conflicted over his relationship with Losers overall, and Peggy likewise has felt conflicted over Cool Kids. They've collaborated, competed for Peter's friendship and had a few deep conversations that have lead to them becoming more genuine friends. Cody wears a friendship bracelet made by her.
- Daniel: Daniel is one of the first Losers Cody's really interacted with since Mini's disappearance in middle school. Since meeting him Daniel's been a nuisance, but over time Cody learns to appreciate his altruism and integrity.
Family[]
- G-Ma: G-Ma is Cody's manipulative grandmother who adopted him and Mini when they were very young. Since then, especially at the start of middle school, she's been pressuring Cody into being the coolest Cool Kid he can be and ascending to Godhood.
- Mini: Mini is Cody's fraternal twin sister. She ran away from home when they were 12.
- Katy: Katy is Cody's mom. She was implied to have passed away in episode 7 when Cody says "Mom n' dad would roll over in their graves". It's revealed in the ending of episode 25 that she has just been trapped in the Bantiquarium. Apparently Cody's rebellious behavior reminds G-Ma of Katy, as mentioned at the end of episode 9.
- Nori: Cody's dad is also implied to have passed away. It's revealed in the ending of episode 25 that he has just been trapped in the Bantiquarium. He was a Loser, ate a lot of seaweed and was very good at drawing porcupines and manga.
